Spirit Halloween's return policy: returns closed October 16, exchanges end October 22
What Spirit Halloween says about 2026 Halloween returns and exchanges, online and in store, the items it won't take back, and where its own pages disagree.

For Halloween 2026, Spirit says in-store returns were accepted until October 16, 2026, in-store exchanges run October 17 to October 22, 2026, and after October 22 all sales are final. In-store returns and exchanges

Online orders
- Condition: items must be unworn, with original accessories, new and resalable, and in the original packaging. (Spirit Halloween)
- Window: within 14 days of the postdate on the package or the day you received it. (Spirit Halloween)
- Halloween-season cutoff: postmarked before October 16, 2026. (Spirit Halloween)
- Shipping: Spirit says it cannot refund the original shipping or the return shipping. Return shipping must be prepaid; the page suggests requesting tracking and considering insurance. (Spirit Halloween)

What Spirit won't take back
Spirit says wigs are not returnable on its online returns page. (Spirit Halloween) Its Terms of Sale add that returns are not accepted on intimate products, wigs, body jewelry, custom products or clearance merchandise, and that accepting a return is at Spirit's discretion. Where Spirit's own pages disagree
- October 16 or 17? Spirit's Returns page says online Halloween-season returns must be postmarked before October 16, 2026, but elsewhere on the same page it says October 17. (Spirit Halloween) If you are close, assume the earlier date.
- 30 days or the season dates? The Terms of Sale say you can return within 30 days of receiving an order, and exchange in store within 30 calendar days. (Terms of Sale) The Returns page gives the shorter seasonal dates above. If the two conflict for your order, ask Spirit before you count on the longer window; I would plan around the earlier dates.
Spirit Christmas
Spirit's Returns page also lists holiday dates. In stores, non-holiday-themed items can be refunded or exchanged through December 30; holiday-themed items can be refunded through December 12 and exchanged through December 24. Consumables are final. Online holiday-themed returns must be postmarked before December 24, 2026. (Spirit Halloween)
What to do if you want to return something
- Exchange in a store today if you can, with your receipt. After October 22, Spirit says all sales are final.
- Online order and still undecided? Check the postmark rule first. Spirit's page says the Halloween-season cutoff was before October 16, so call Spirit before you ship the package.
- Ship with tracking and keep the receipt, since Spirit does not refund the return shipping.
